The Star Legacy collection introduces a new series of timepieces – the Star Legacy Grey Capsule, inspired by the grey glaciers of Mont Blanc. The collection draws inspiration from the 20th-century Minerva pocket watch, highlighting its pebble-shaped casings and domed sapphire crystals in its designs. The Star Legacy Blue was the inaugural range launched last year.
Montblanc Investigates the Opposite Aspect of the Mountain With Its Latest Release This year's model emulates its blue predecessor with a glacier-patterned dial, drawing influence from the textures of Mont Blanc's massif, but presented in a grey color scheme. Rose-gold plated leaf-shaped hands and Arabic numerals enhance the grey dial. This edition is available in three distinct forms, all featuring automatic movements, each suitable for different occasions.

The Star Legacy Automatic Date 39mm, being the smallest size, is the most casual choice among the three options. With dimensions that suit most wrists, it is an ideal selection for daily wear.
Montblanc Investigates the Opposite Aspect of the Mountain with Its Latest Release Select the 42mm Star Legacy Moonphase for a sophisticated choice. The watch exhibits the lunar phases, with a refined rose gold-coated moon and stars against a blue background, positioned at six o’clock and superimposed over a grey glacier design.
Finally, the most athletic model among them is the Star Legacy Chronograph, measuring 42mm. It incorporates two counters positioned at three and nine o’clock, enhancing both elegance and legibility. Time is indicated by rose-gold hands, whereas the chronograph features rhodium-coated "baton" hands.
Each variation features an interchangeable grey calf leather strap with an alligator design and is limited to 1786 pieces, commemorating Jacques Balmat's historic first ascent of Mont Blanc in 1786. Moreover, the rose-gold accents were selected as Balmat pursued gold during his ascent, so honoring the climber while simultaneously contrasting with the grey glaciers of the watch face.
