Louis Vuitton's "Pacific Chill" Fragrance Embodies California's Wellness Trend

The luxury fashion house Louis Vuitton is further expanding its fragrance collection with the introduction of a wellness-themed scent titled “Pacific Chill.” The fragrance embodies coastal tranquilly, conveying California's cleanse culture via invigorating undertones that stimulate the senses. As Louis Vuitton's inaugural "wellness fragrance," master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud drew inspiration from the purifying juices of Los Angeles.

“One morning in Los Angeles, during a conversation with Alex Israel, we both ordered a detoxifying smoothie favoured by Californians.” Inspired by the nutrient-rich beverage, I remarked to Alex, ‘I shall develop a detox cologne.’ Belletrud stated in a press statement.

“Pacific Chill” offers its wearer an aromatic experience beneath California’s sunlit skies. Blackcurrant notes are complemented by cédrat and lemon undertones, while coriander seeds, ambrette, basil, peppermint, and orange provide a rejuvenating experience for the mind, body, and spirit.
