Acqua di Parma's launches typically center on a lifestyle theme. A specific objective that the Italian fragrance house has advocated since its establishment in 1916. The initial perfumes were utilized to scent gentlemen's handkerchiefs before evolving into a hallmark of Italian elegance. After 105 years and numerous launches, it continues to embody the essence of Italian chic. Chic, however, can signify various interpretations.
Consider Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo Mirto di Panarea, for instance. The high tea buffet at Acqua di Parma and InterContinental Singapore exemplifies a distinct Italian elegance, emphasizing leisurely dining with offerings inspired by two of Acqua di Parma's current perfumes, Oud and Lily of the Valley.
“Afternoon tea has consistently been a hallmark experience at The Lobby Lounge, and we were attracted to the heritage and philosophy of Acqua di Parma’s Signatures of the Sun collection, which aligns with our own commitment to sourcing exquisite ingredients globally and highlighting their purest essence.” Executive Chef Eric Neo said.
The menu features the lightness of Acqua di Parma’s Lily Of the Valley — Yuzu mimosa tart with jasmine marshmallow, Madagascar vanilla bean mousse with bergamot curd and almond sponge; and Red dragon chai financier with strawberry marmalade, sakura cream and pink peppercorns — alongside the richness of Oud — sesame-crusted Norwegian salmon toast with saffron aioli; smoky Parma ham with cheddar cheese and homemade osmanthus butter on ciabatta; smoked chicken quiche Lorraine; and mini donut with crabmeat salad, pomelo and yuzu jelly. The experience also includes a welcome drink, scones, and unlimited ice cream servings.
