The Collaboration Between Lamborghini and Orlebar Brown's Menswear is Influenced by the Style of South Beach

The Miami-style collection from luxury manufacturers draws influence from the Revuelto and Countach supercars.

The British resort clothing company Orlebar Brown and the Italian luxury automobile manufacturer Lamborghini have unveiled their latest joint collection. The new range is inspired by the formidable power of the Lamborghini Revuelto hybrid supercar, the legendary design of the Countach, and the dynamic atmosphere of Miami Beach.

The beachy collection includes shirts, shorts, swim trunks, and accessories made from high-quality materials such as Italian linen and silk. The designs highlight angular forms and meticulous tailoring, showcasing Lamborghini's engineering expertise through exquisite jacquard patterns and embroidered details.

The tailoring reflects the aesthetic for which Orlebar Brown, established in 2007, is renowned, characterized by resort menswear style and its iconic "shorts you can swim in," distinguished by their characteristic side-fasteners. The brand's swim shorts are constructed from recycled plastic and with a five-year warranty.

The color palette of the series is a striking homage to South Beach aesthetics, with bespoke hues sourced directly from Lamborghini’s vaults. The vivid colors—such as bright Blu Cepheus and Verde Selvans—are viewed through the happy, sunlit perspective of Miami Beach and complemented by traditional shades like Blu Okeanus and Bianco.

Lamborghini has consistently symbolized more than mere automobiles. “They are dream machines—manifestations of individuality, disruption, and unrestrained joy,” stated Adam Brown, Founder of Orlebar Brown, in a communiqué sent by the brand. “We aimed to encapsulate the essence of an idyllic Miami morning, with the engine humming, shirt billowing in the breeze, and sunlight reflecting off both metal and water simultaneously.” This compilation serves as an homage to that sentiment.

Notable pieces in the collection comprise swim shorts featuring audacious hexagonal patterns in vibrant blue and green, silk vacation shirts, a coordinated toweling jacquard short and shirt ensemble, rashguards, and a newly crafted assortment of beach bags and towels.
