Studio Nicholson has launched its FW25 campaign, photographed by Luna Conte at Kettle’s Yard in Cambridge, a historic residence and museum formerly held by Tate Curator H.S. Jim Ede.
Nestled among the contemporary artworks and personal decor of the Edes, Studio Nicholson’s FW25 collection is inspired by historical militaria, enhanced with modern sophistication.

Regarding the subject, Nick Wakeman, Founder and Creative Director of Studio Nicholson, stated, “The concept of military uniform was paramount.” “It was the inaugural season in some time during which we examined vintage militaria and contemplated methods to rejuvenate them, rendering them less literal and more contemporary,” she remarked.
The practical emphasis of military patterns, such as the khaki Caro utility pants, is complemented by softer elements like the Scottish merino Sark sweater and the Inverness V-neck. The Revere trench and the Dani Jacket feature leather collars for an enhanced sophistication in outerwear.

Wakeman highlights Japanese wrinkled denim, textured cotton, and linen viscose as fabrics selected for their tactile qualities. The Marylebone Jean is a standout, featuring an ultra-high rise and ample space, available in washed indigo and raw black denim.
