Mark Cuban ended his 15-year tenure on ABC's Shark Tank, having joined the renowned program in its third season, which premiered in 2012. The program showcases entrepreneurs and their concepts as they endeavor to bring their products or projects to market.

Since Cuban's debut on Shark Tank, his investments on the show have surged nearly eightfold.

Cuban made his final appearance on Friday and informed CNBC that he invested approximately $33 million in total throughout his tenure on the show. He assessed the value of his investments in the different enterprises to be $250 million.

“I do not consistently invest with the expectation of financial gain.” Occasionally, my agreements are solely intended to assist [an entrepreneur] or convey a message,” he stated.

Cuban's ultimate investment on Shark Tank amounted to $125,000 for a 10% stake in a restaurant exclusively focused on deviled eggs including unconventional tastes such as backyard BBQ, chicken & pickle, and chicken quesadilla. Predictably, his advice has been to limit investments in high-risk ventures to no more than 10%.

Cuban advised in a 2017 interview with Vanity Fair, "If you are a genuine adventurer and wish to take a significant risk, consider allocating 10% of your funds to Bitcoin or Ethereum; however, you must act as though you have already forfeited that investment." “Collecting is akin to acquiring art, baseball cards, or shoes — an item's value is determined by what someone is willing to pay for it.” I would restrict hazardous investments to 10%.

Cuban is the previous proprietor of the NBA's Dallas Mavericks and currently serves as a minority partner. At the time of his show's premiere, both Shark Tank and Donald Trump's Apprentice were successful reality programs that provided insights into the business realm.
