Chanel has officially engaged one of Hollywood's most prominent leading males to endorse its signature fragrance. Australian actor Jacob Elordi, renowned for his performances in Euphoria, Frankenstein, and Wuthering Heights, has been designated as the new ambassador for the popular men's fragrance, Bleu de Chanel.



The collaboration appears to be a logical advancement for both the 106-year-old French fashion brand and the actor. Thomas du Pré de Saint Maur, Chanel’s global creative resources director for scent and beauty, remarked that the firm has been monitoring the actor for an extended period. “I have been monitoring Jacob Elordi’s career for several years, since Euphoria,” du Pré de Saint Maur stated. “He epitomises Bleu de Chanel: conveying freedom, enigma, allure, and a masculinity that harmonises modernity with a distinct classic elegance.”Elordi and du Pré de Saint Maur initially encountered each other on the set of See You at 5, a short film for Chanel No. 5, in which Elordi performed with Margot Robbie. Captivated by the opulent house's illustrious legacy of cinematic narrative, Elordi conveyed his profound gratitude for the new position, remarking, “The filmmakers and actors who have previously collaborated with the House are individuals I hold in high regard and esteem.” It is an honour to participate in this narrative.



In addition to his acting achievements, Elordi has established himself as a significant influence in modern menswear, recognised for his widely imitated street style and meticulously designed red-carpet ensembles. By assuming the Bleu de Chanel role, the actor provides his devoted fashion admirers a novel, aromatic means to embody his own aesthetic Bleu de Chanel, a continuously top-selling woody, manly fragrance in the US, UK, and worldwide, is anticipated to expand its cultural influence with Elordi leading the brand.
