Marking their first collaboration, the collection introduces bold orange detailing to Ryo Kashiwazaki’s typically understated design language.

BEAMS JAPAN and Hender Scheme have collaborated to launch a special anniversary line of vivid leather accessories. This cooperation marks the inaugural bespoke relationship between the two institutions, specifically designed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of BEAMS and the 10th anniversary of the BEAMS JAPAN subsidiary. The collaboration combines Hender Scheme's focus on superior craftsmanship and material integrity with the whimsical yet subversive essence of BEAMS, showcasing four of the Tokyo-based leather brand's most favoured everyday designs. The extensive collection features the minimalist wallet, the folding card case, the very functional key holder, and the elegant glass cord. Each utilitarian accessory preserves Hender Scheme’s pragmatic design ethos and painstaking structural features while experiencing a striking, cohesive colour metamorphosis.

The complete four-piece jubilee collection is dyed exclusively in a vivid "Orange," departing from the conventional natural leather hues for which Hender Scheme is internationally acclaimed. This striking implementation directly references BEAMS' renowned corporate identity. In addition to its immediate visual effect, the particular hue possesses profound cultural importance in Japan, representing prosperity transmitted through generations. The resultant capsule embodies a significant chemical reaction that pays tribute to the illustrious retail heritage of BEAMS while enhancing everyday essentials through exceptional Japanese workmanship.
The Hender Scheme x BEAMS JAPAN anniversary collection will be released on April 25 at BEAMS JAPAN locations in Shinjuku, Shibuya, and Kyoto.
