The designer will supervise all women's, men's, and haute couture collections.

Dior has formally appointed Jonathan Anderson as its eighth couturier, assuming the role of creative director for its women's, men's, and haute couture collections. This signifies the inaugural instance of a single designer overseeing the creative direction of all three departments since Monsieur Christian Dior himself.
Anderson's ascension signifies a pivotal juncture, as he assumes the exclusive creative authority over all of Dior's principal lines, a poetic culmination reflecting the brand's initial framework established by Monsieur Dior. This announcement comes after a swift succession of changes in Dior's creative leadership. Anderson was named as the creative director of Dior Men on April 17, 2025, succeeding Kim Jones. Shortly before this extensive appointment, Maria Grazia Chiuri's exit from Dior's womenswear and couture divisions was announced on May 29, 2025, following her Cruise 2026 presentation.
Renowned for his avant-garde and frequently gender-fluid designs over his revolutionary 11-year career at Loewe, which concluded in March 2025, Anderson introduces a bold and original perspective to Dior. His inaugural women's ready-to-wear collection for the maison is anticipated to launch during Paris Fashion Week in October, subsequent to his eagerly awaited debut Dior menswear presentation on June 27. Anderson stated, “I am profoundly honored to be afforded the opportunity to consolidate Dior’s women’s, men’s, and couture collections under a unified vision.” My inclination is to be guided by the house's kind essence. I anticipate collaborating with its renowned ateliers to create the next chapter of this remarkable narrative. I like to convey my heartfelt gratitude to Bernard Arnault and Delphine Arnault for their enduring trust and commitment throughout the years.
Bernard Arnault, chairman and CEO of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, stated, “Jonathan Anderson is one of the foremost creative talents of his generation.” His unparalleled artistic signature will be an essential asset in authoring the next chapter of the history of the house of Dior. Delphine Arnault, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Christian Dior Couture, stated, “It is the CEO's responsibility to recognize the appropriate time for a creative transformation, and we deemed this moment suitable.” My father was significantly involved in the decision-making process, and we believe he is the most skilled designer of his generation.
This appointment positions Anderson as the leader of one of the world's most prominent luxury companies amid considerable upheaval in the global fashion business, indicating a decisive new phase for Dior. This announcement validates months of conjecture over Anderson's assumption of the creative leadership for womenswear, menswear, and couture.
