The King Seiko lineage by Seiko advances with the launch of the Vanac "Tokyo Horizon" collection, a new installment that honours the unique design of the original 1970s Vanac series. The latest version features two new varieties, Urban Greenery and Urban Gardens, each with a patterned dial that reflects the vast urban architectural cityscape of Tokyo.

Both timepieces exhibit the essential attributes that characterise the King Seiko series, with the new Vanac models distinguished by their harmonious fusion of aesthetics and practicality. The patterned dials are accompanied by coordinating leather straps that seamlessly blend with the casing. The general case architecture and dial design are directly inspired by the iconic style of the original 1970s Vanac line, maintaining the model's historic character while offering a sophisticated, contemporary version.

The core of the two new "Tokyo Horizon" models is the new in-house 8L45 mechanical calibre. This movement exemplifies superior Japanese horology, delivering reliable performance with an accuracy of +10/–5 seconds and a functional three-day power reserve.

The King Seiko Vanac Urban Greenery and Urban Gardens watches are available for pre-order on Seiko’s UK website, priced at £2,800 GBP (about $3,726 USD), with deliveries starting in January.
