Airbus Corporate Helicopters and Mercedes-Benz have collaborated to introduce the ACH145 Mercedes-Benz Edition, enhancing private air travel with a cabin inspired by the automaker's most opulent cars. Introduced at a demonstration event in São Paulo, Brazil, the special-edition helicopter supersedes the prior ACH145 Mercedes-Benz Style, which debuted in 2010. The revamp explicitly integrates the brand's "Sensual Purity" philosophy, directly inspired by the Mercedes-Benz EQS and Maybach Ultimate Luxury show cars, facilitating a seamless transition from a premium terrestrial vehicle to aerial transport.

The twin-engine rotorcraft is constructed on Airbus's latest five-bladed H145 platform. This revised foundation diminishes in-flight vibration and noise levels while augmenting the aircraft's useable payload by 150 kilos relative to its predecessor. The ACH145 is engineered for optimal performance and sophistication, including a maximum cruising speed of 130 knots and a flying duration of up to four hours, rendering it exceptionally suitable for executive transport.

Within the cabin, the helicopter eschews conventional exposed aviation components for a streamlined, enveloping architectural design. It includes authentic wood flooring, metallic embellishments, and contoured seats upholstered in high-quality leather with matching diamond stitching. The room can host a maximum of eight passengers and provides innovative storage options, featuring integrated cabinets and carry-on compartments. Purchasers are offered six meticulously selected inside colour and trim concepts—Atlas, Meteor, Phoenix, Zenith, Polaris, and Solaris—or the option for entirely customised finishes. Although official pricing has not been definitively established, the special aircraft is anticipated to be priced between $12 million and $15 million USD.
