The transformation from a virtual idea to a tangible giant is finalised. Red Bull Advanced Technologies has unveiled the definitive production design of the RB17, a track-exclusive hypercar that epitomises the pinnacle of engineering by renowned designer Adrian Newey. As Newey anticipates his forthcoming chapter, the hybrid V-10 hypercar stands as his ultimate farewell contribution to the realm of high-performance engineering.

The ultimate design exemplifies "form following function," showcasing a robust carbon-fiber monocoque and a contoured aerodynamic silhouette that can produce roughly two tonnes of downforce. At the core of this machine resides a mid-mounted, naturally aspirated V10 engine that roars to an astonishing 15,000 RPM. This powerplant, combined with an advanced hybrid system, produces in excess of 1,200 horsepower for a vehicle weighing under 900 kilogrammes. The outcome is a vehicle that Red Bull asserts will achieve Formula 1-caliber lap times when operated by a proficient private owner.
The RB17, with a production limit of 50 units each anticipated to be priced beyond $6 million USD, is a distinctive addition to the Red Bull racing lineage. Owners will have a customised driver development program, featuring access to Red Bull's premier simulators and on-site assistance.
