The timepiece includes dual minute hands, a Grain d’Orge guilloché dial, a platinum bezel, and a PF052 caliber.

Parmigiani Fleurier has redefined its innovative complication with the introduction of the Tonda PF Minute Rattrapante “Arctic Rose” in stainless steel, presented at Dubai Watch Week. The inaugural Minute Rattrapante, launched in 2023, represented a groundbreaking advancement in horology, crafted not only to gauge performance but to provide a distinctive experience: the capability to increment time at will. This unique complication simplifies the intricate concept of prolonging a moment into an instinctive action, according with the Maison’s ethos of “private luxury” — a sophisticated, subtle, and cultured representation of time that encourages the wearer to regain their personal tempo.
The "Arctic Rose" model features a refined color scheme and elaborate detailing. The 40mm stainless steel case is equipped with a hand-knurled Platinum 950 bezel and a completely fitted bracelet. The dial, adorned with the exquisite Grain d’Orge hand-guilloché pattern (a hallmark since 1996), transitions between soft rose and crystalline reflections when illuminated. The use of the “Arctic Rose” hue intentionally reestablishes a neglected 18th-century tradition, wherein rose signified refinement for males, so affirming an aesthetic liberated from contemporary norms.

The automated Manufacture Calibre PF052 powers this revolutionary mechanism, achieving the world's first Minute Rattrapante function within a slim profile of only 4.9 mm in thickness. The complication is controlled by two pushers (one positioned at 10 o’clock to increment a minute, and one at 8 o’clock to increment five minutes) and the crown for resetting. The rhodium-plated hand denotes the current time, whereas the rose gold hand signifies the selected interval. The movement, observable via the case back, consists of 271 components and has a 48-hour power reserve. The decoration is executed to the finest standards, featuring Côtes de Genève, Perlage, and bevelled bridges, complemented by a 22-carat rose gold micro-rotor that reflects the dial’s Grain d’Orge guilloché.
