OutKast is commemorating the 25th anniversary of Stankonia with a special deluxe version.
The forthcoming version is scheduled for release on October 31 and features a three-LP set pressed on purple marbled vinyl, accompanied by new cover art from André 3000. The release also includes items such as T-shirts, long-sleeved T-shirts, and a banner, in addition to a CD and a standard two-LP vinyl set. Although not explicitly stated, fans can anticipate several remixes and B-sides that were previously inaccessible on streaming platforms.
Stankonia represented the duo's fourth studio album and included contributions from Gangsta Boo, Erykah Badu, Killer Mike, among others. The album garnered both critical and financial success, leading to the emergence of some of OutKast’s most significant songs, such as “Ms. Jackson” and “So Fresh, So Clean.”
The 25th Anniversary edition of OutKast's Stankonia will be released on October 31.
