Mercedes-Maybach plans to introduce the car in two exclusive design themes: “Red Ambience,” with a MANUFAKTUR Garnet Red Metallic base, and “White Ambience,” presented in Moonlight White Magno. The two versions are sharply differentiated by an Obsidian Black Metallic upper half, establishing a dominant visual impact.

The Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series is differentiated from its conventional counterparts by unique cosmetic features. The front fascia has an illuminated, chrome-laden radiator grille crowned with a prominent hood ornament—a rarity among contemporary sports vehicles. Purchasers may select the hood to display a recurring Maybach logo pattern, necessitating a rigorous hand-sanding procedure that incorporates Graphite Grey printing behind layers of matte clear lacquer.
