Presenting the “Sunrise Tentagraph” chronograph and the “Moonlit Birch” manual-winding hi-beat timepiece.

Grand Seiko's recent offerings feature two Evolution 9 Style timepieces: the SLGW006 "Sunrise Tentagraph" chronograph and the SLGW007 "Moonlit Birch," both drawing inspiration from Japan's natural splendor and the brand's high-beat precision.

The SLGW006 “Sunrise Tentagraph” chronograph, a limited edition of 300 pieces, embodies the dawn's radiance on Mount Iwate with its copper-pink, radial-patterned dial. The case, constructed from polished Grade 5 titanium, 18k rose gold, and ceramic, has a diameter of 43.2 mm. Under its bespoke fluted bezel, which serves as a functional minute track, resides the Caliber 9SC5, providing a power reserve of 72 hours.

The SLGW007 “Moonlit Birch” is a manual-winding, high-beat dress watch that complements the chronograph, reminiscent of white birch tree bark illuminated by moonlight. The textured navy PVD dial reflects the uneven woodland patterns of Hiraniwa Plateau in Iwate Prefecture. The clock features a slim 38.6 mm stainless steel casing and has a thickness of 9.95 mm. The Caliber 9SA4 operates at a frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour to ensure stability and precision, providing 80 hours of uninterrupted power. A navy calf-leather strap, reflecting the dial's textured design, enhances this simple timepiece with subtle sophistication.

The SLGW006 “Sunrise Tentagraph,” priced at $22,600 USD/£19,650 GBP, will be available from October and sold only through Grand Seiko Salons. The SLGW007 “Moonlit Birch” will be priced at $10,000 USD/£8,600 GBP and is set to launch in October. Consult Grand Seiko's official website for comprehensive information.
