A final leak of the eagerly awaited Fujifilm GFX 100RF has emerged mere hours prior to its official launch.

This medium format camera with a fixed lens presents innovative features, merging high-resolution pictures with a small, luxury style.

The GFX 100RF is the inaugural compact camera in the GFX series, weighing at 735 grams, thereby rendering it the lightest GFX camera to date. It has a precision-machined aluminum chassis, either in black or silver, along with a control dial for rapid aspect ratio modifications. The camera utilizes a 102MP GFX CMOS II sensor and X-Processor 5, providing low noise, fine details, and an extensive dynamic range.

The AI-driven autofocus system improves tracking of faces, eyes, and objects, while the integrated four-stop ND filter, leaf shutter for high-speed flash shooting, and Surround View function—simulating an optical viewfinder with luminous frame overlays—enhance its functionality.
The Fujifilm GFX 100RF is scheduled for delivery in April 2025, with a retail price of €5,499 EUR (about $5,939 USD). The imminent official announcement heralds a new epoch in compact medium format photography.
