The British watchmaker Bremont has augmented its high-horology aviation collection with the introduction of the Skeletonised Altitude Perpetual Calendar GMT Monopusher, revealed exclusively at Dubai Watch Week. The new timepiece reinterprets the brand’s intricate complication by exposing the dial to showcase the internal mechanical structure, providing collectors with a transparent perspective of the patented engineering that powers the watch.

This skeletal edition of the Altitude line, initially unveiled at Watches & Wonders 2025, preserves the robust functionality of a tool watch while highlighting exquisite Swiss craftsmanship. The watch is driven by a manual-winding movement that includes a complication module specifically designed for Bremont by Agenhor, a Geneva-based manufacturer renowned for its intricate horological innovations, which is mounted on a modified Sellita AMT6900 base calibre.

The skeletal design not only reveals the movement but also incorporates the mechanics into the display itself. The open-worked dial displays “Air Force Blue” ornamental arms that offer structural support to the floating subdials, guaranteeing the watch maintains the legibility and durability inherent to the Altitude series. A domed globe at 12 o’clock signifies a secondary time zone, rotating to display local time against a 24-hour ring segmented into day and night divisions. The GMT function is modified using a monopusher seamlessly built into the crown, facilitating single-click modifications in one-hour increments.

The perpetual calendar features are exhibited via a series of propeller-like hands and radial indicators. At 3 o’clock, a month and leap-year indicator employs a four-blade propeller hand, with a red-tipped blade indicating the current position within the four-year cycle. A radial date display is positioned at 6 o’clock, while a running seconds indication at 9 o’clock features a lume-tipped two-blade propeller, accentuating the watch’s aviation-inspired design motif.

The watch is encased in a 42mm Grade 2 titanium casing that utilises Bremont’s distinctive Trip-Tick design, maintaining a slim height of 12.65mm despite the layered complexity. The movement features a 50-hour power reserve and functions with chronometer-grade precision.

Davide Cerrato, CEO of Bremont, remarked that the open design provides a novel viewpoint on the company's engineering proficiencies. Cerrato stated, "The skeletonised Altitude Perpetual Calendar GMT renders the intricacy of this timepiece tangible, visible, and captivating." “It enables collectors to observe the interaction between the GMT and perpetual calendar complications, while preserving the robustness, functionality, and unique character of the Altitude Collection.”

Bremont's newest GMT skeleton watch is offered with a quick-release titanium bracelet or a patina leather strap for $42,500.
