The brand refreshes its integrated-style sports watch with a two-tone finish, softening the design while keeping it firmly approachable.

Mido transformed the angular, integrated-sports model, the Multifort 8 Two Crowns, into a more streamlined and adaptable timepiece with the Multifort 8 One Crown. The series now includes a two-tone edition that retains the essential characteristics of the One Crown. Rose gold embellishments impart a little softer, lifestyle-oriented character to this new iteration, while the costs remain firmly within the accessible range.
The case retains its size, measuring 40mm in diameter, with a compact 44.86mm lug-to-lug and a relatively narrow profile of less than 10mm. The Multifort 8 One Crown appears more compact due to its integrated bracelet design. The octagonal bezel, PVD-coated in rose gold for this version, features sharp facets and alternates between polished and satin finishes to enhance light reflection. The crown reflects the bezel's geometry and is secured to guarantee 100m water resistance. The strong yet refined packaging is completed by sapphire crystals on both the front and back, each featuring an anti-reflective coating.

The matte black dial showcases horizontal lines for added texture. Applied indices and tri-faceted hands in rose gold hue provide warmth and contrast, all infused with white Super-LumiNova for visibility in low-light conditions. The white minute track serves as the inclined flange, while the date window is positioned at 3 o’clock, both functional and discreet.
The timepiece is driven by calibre 80, commonly referred to as the Powermatic 80. This automated movement, an advancement of the iconic ETA 2824, operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour (3Hz frequency) and provides an 80-hour power reserve. The Nivachron balance spring improves resistance to shocks and magnetism, aligning with the Multifort's designation as a reliable everyday timepiece.
The integrated steel bracelet is an essential component of the design. The satin-finished outer links juxtapose with the rose gold-hued core links. A folding clasp featuring push buttons and a rapid exchange mechanism facilitates effortless strap replacements. The Mido Multifort 8 One Crown Two-Tone is included in the standard collection and is readily accessible. The retail price is established at EUR 1,150 or CHF 960; for further details, please visit midowatches.com.
