A. Lange & Söhne's Lange 1 Daymatic HONEYGOLD® represents a notable achievement for the German timepiece, as it debuts this model in their exclusive 750 honey gold alloy. The timepiece combines the warm sheen of honey gold with a brown silver dial, resulting in a sophisticated and unique appearance. The hour and minute indicators are positioned on the right, whereas the auxiliary seconds and oversized date are located on the left.

The Daymatic incorporates a retrograde day-of-week display in lieu of the traditional power reserve indicator, enhancing both utility and uniqueness in its design. The case, with a diameter of 39.5mm and a height of 10.4mm, has balanced proportions, enhanced by redesigned lugs and bezel for a more lightweight appearance. The taupe hand-stitched alligator strap with a honey gold buckle enhances the sophisticated appearance.

The watch contains the self-winding Calibre L021.1, a movement designed with the Maison's signature accuracy and artisanal craftsmanship. A substantial centre rotor composed of 21-carat gold, accompanied by a platinum mass, guarantees effective winding and provides a 50-hour power reserve. Traditional features, including the hand-engraved balancing cock, Glashütte ribbing, and screwed gold chatons, underscore the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship, observable through the sapphire-crystal caseback.

The Lange 1 Daymatic HONEYGOLD®, restricted to 250 units, was launched on December 7, a date that honours both Ferdinand Adolph Lange's establishment of Glashütte watchmaking in 1845 and Walter Lange's reestablishment of the brand in 1990.
